Northwest Bearing Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Baota industry, is the backbone enterprise of China's bearing industry, which was built in Ningxia by the national third line construction in the 1960s. Over the past 50 years, northwest bearing has gone through relocations, listing, loss and restructuring. At the end of 2020, Ningxia state-owned capital operation group became the actual controller of Baota industry. While fully taking over the operation and management of the company, it also took over the burden of leading Baota industry to continue its reform and development and forge ahead.
In March this year, the first set of railway freight car bearings produced by the automatic assembly line of northwest bearing was successfully offline. This marks that after 20 years away from the railway market, northwest bearing brand products have re entered the domestic railway freight car bearing field.
